Basically an Escape room style adventure game that I enjoyed surprisingly much. Out of all the Escape room games I played, it had the most coherent idea of how to structure those puzzles in a way that feel well placed in its environment with a fair setup to the player, while also giving me enough to think about and offering a generous hint system if you wanted it. The story on top worked well enough that I was curious what happened to patient #3 and #6, even if it didnt reinvent the wheel. The game could run a bit smoother, but overall, I very much enjoyed the atmosphere and puzzles, which was I want from these games. Definitely recommended. 3,5/5
great game, liked the puzzles (clever but not so "clever" i was cursing at the devs like most other adventure games). hint system was great (except for the red/gold/white wires puzzle which just said to figure out the wires with the locker buttons, i knew that part but was getting befuddled). most of the puzzles are great and would make a nice real life escape room.
the only issue was that my mouse worked fine with the default set up. then when i went to the game again the pointer disappeared. eventually i needed to change my mouse pointer to the base scheme? maybe? or the part where i tried compatibility mode? or one of the dpi settings options? anyway i had to spend like half an hour to get my mouse pointer to show up and not sure what solved it.
I seem to be having a bug where I can't exit the computer terminals. I can perform all the required actions on the Veritas Labs' terminals, can take a photo or observe my inventory, but the backspace key isn't working. I end up having to reset my save and play the game over again, carefully avoiding clicking on any computer terminals. Any suggestions, or should I just ignore the computers?
If you can, add a UI back button to the journal books, too. I am able to back out of those by hitting backspace while my photo album's open, but I figure that's not one of the game's puzzles ;)
The worst optimized game I've seen on here. Literally just bought all new parts for my system last week, running a 2060, Ryzen 7 3700X, 32 gigs of low latency RAM, and this POINT AND CLICK game drops to sub-10 FPS when moving my mouse, even in the menu. In fact, if I move it fast enough, the entire game stops moving until I stop moving the mouse.
That's what most desktop ports of mobile games end up being. The bare minimum effort goes into the port so the developer can make an extra buck.
EDIT: Actually, it runs just fine for me. Maybe try again? They said on Steam that the first version was really bad and then there was an update that fixed it.
Sorry about this both of you. Did you have any better luck after the updates?
We didn't do the desktop port just for an extra buck, we did all versions of the game so that we can make barely any bucks. Indie devs aren't exactly rolling in money ( or atleast, we aren't )
It recovers faster now so it is playable at least, but moving my mouse still slows it down to 1 FPS until I stop.
If there's any sort of log file or if a screen recording or something would help I'm down to provide it It's as if the game sees the mouse moving and devotes the entirety of its resources to that and nothing else

Stutters non-stop on Windows.
Can you provide an Android APK directly to itch that doesn’t require Google Play Services? I specifically buy games from itch.io to avoid that.
Having trouble running this at all without the game going unresponsive. I would really like to enjoy what you've put together!
Visual glitch? When I get in the game all I see is black except for the particles around clickable objects and the menu. Is there a way I can fix this

Sorry about this! You should be able to right-click to go to the previous scenes as well.
I'll add in an update ASAP to have a UI back button on those scenes just to make it easier.
Hmm. Not sure if I tried right-clicking.

Cheers, thanks!

EDIT2: It was just updated again today. So yea.

Would it be possible to include the Android version on itch?
I'll see what I can do yea.
